As far as MMOG launches go, I have to say it's one of the best I've ever come across.  It wasn't perfect (far from it) with login issues, the Black Lion Trading Company not working, guild representation well and truly broken and some World versus World scoring issues.  However, for the most part it worked like a charm.  What I find most surprising was that in all the stress tests and beta tests I've never once encountered one of these issues (besides the odd login error).  I think this well and truly demonstrates that no matter the planning, pre testing or preparation you simply cannot foresee all problems that arise with an MMOG launch.

One thing that does concern me however is server numbers and while many are absolutely brimming with people (Desolation is ridiculously busy) mine (Ruins of Surmia) is incredibly quiet to the point where I'm not sure we'll ever be able to gain a true foothold in World versus World without an incentive from ArenaNet for people to move away from the horde servers.  I will however be discussing this issue in more detail in the coming days.
